MERLOT Voices

Putting Educational Innovations into Practice.

Please take the opportunity to introduce yourself here in MERLOT Voices.  Some people are attending GRAPE Camp asynchronously or as a self study.  This will be the only contact they will have with others who are attending.  This is a great opportunity to network with others.  After you introduce yourself, tell us about you.  You are also able to reply to anyone else's comments.

Welcome, Minjuan.  I think it would be very helpful to you to attend GRAPE Camp, as you can learn how we go about peer reviewing the MERLOT resources.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself, my name is Mohammed K A Kaabar, PhD student in Applied Mathematics at Washington State University (WSU), I am working as teaching assistant (TA) and math tutor at the math learning center at WSU. I am a technical program committee (TPC) invited member and invited reviewer for 21 international conferences in applied math, applied physics, and electrical and computer engineering. I wrote two math books titled: A Friendly Introduction to Differential Equations (http://www.mohammed-kaabar.net/#!differential-equations-book/cuvt) and A First Course in Linear Algebra (http://www.mohammed-kaabar.net/#!linear-algebra-book/c1p3a). In addition, I am teaching two free online courses in numerical analysis: (Introduction to Numerical Analysis) and (Advanced Numerical Analysis). I am very happy to start my training as a self study at MERLOT GRAPE Camp, and I am very excited about becoming a peer reviewer for the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT) in the field of mathematics.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

Mohammed Kaabar

We're happy to have you with us, Mohammed.  Since you are doing the self study, you won't meet many people, so this forum is the place to interact.  I know you will be appreciated by the math editorial board.
