Hello all,

I'm Jackie, my friends just call me JB, and I'm a first term graduate student at Texas A&M Commerce in the Global e-Learning program.  I do not have a teaching background but I did spend the past 16 years working in higher education at a creative arts college in Houston.  I left that position to return to school and focus on my degree.  I also do marketing and development for a new clothing line developed by a friend and former colleague here in Houston.  I'm passionate about culinary education, history (primarily WWII) and fitness.  I'm looking forward to learning more about Merlot.
