Good Morning all, I am taking this time to introduce myself, I am currently serving as Senior Project Manager for the California State University STEM Collaboratives Project. This project intends to increase the number of under-represented minorities in the STEM fields in the CSU System, by utilizing an integrated program of interventions that implement high-impact practices: Summer Bridge, First Year Seminar, Redesign of STEM Gateway courses. Prior to coming to the CSU, I was Assistant Professor of History/History of Science at Stevens Institute of Techology, in Hoboken NJ. While there, I oversaw a transdisciplinary research project on sustainable development and supervised a multidisciplinary senior design team each year, designing a water system in Latin America that was sustainable economically, environmentally, and socially. I remain connected to that project and work tirelessly to support sustainable development initiatives in higher education. I have included some photos of my work in Ecuador, 2011-2013.
