How can we use the principles of Universal Design to create open/affordable resources that offer the greatest amount of access and engagement, for all students?
To begin the discussion, Creative Commons has provided a good overview as to how open licensing supports universal design, allowing users to adopt and adapt materials to newer formats that may provide better modes of engagement or access. In addition, these enhanced versions can then be openly shared back to future users.
