Hello! I am Yingsoon Goh. I am a Mandarin senior lecturer at the MARA University of Technology, Malaysia. I am currently doing my Ph.D. in educational technology. I enjoyed reading the content of MERLOT and am looking forward to the future sessions for more knowledge pertaining to educational technology.
Hello, everyone, I teach online for Kaplan University's School of Information Systems and Technology. Previously, I taught music at the college/university level, was licensed to sell insurance and investments, and wrote for a local newspaper. I'm looking forward to learning more about what MERLOT has to offer!
PS. The picture is of my Clara, who will turn 20 this October.
Hi, Tamara. That is quite a switch from music to information systems. We're happy to have you.
A 20 year old cat...Wow! She sure doesn't look it.
Hi Tammy! I am just completing the Grape training myself. Very interesting process for sure :) Glad to see you here as well.
Tina
Congratulations, Sandra. You happen to be the first to post in Voices for the September GRAPE Camp. A toast with MERLOT to you.
As I mentioned during the session, our Teacher Education Editorial Board will welcome you when you finish. It's a great group to work with.
Hello Everyone! My official name is Maria van Zuilen, but everyone calls me Rose. I have a mixed background which includes geriatric nursing, sociology and anthropology, instructional design and a PhD in clincial psychology, but for about 15 years now, I have been working with the medical students at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I am the co-director of our longitudinal medical student curriculum in geriatrics, pain management and palliative care. I am also the director of faculty development for our geriatrics division and an interdisciplinary educator for the Miami Area Geriatric Education Center. I am happy to be part of this group.
Greetings,
I am Barb Hall, a member of the Fall GRAPE camp. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate asynchronously in the GRAPE camp. I enjoy looking at the creativity and skill of fellow professors and finding ways to use and contribute to the shared works of our discipline.
I am an instructional design consultant, an Associate Faculty member at Ashford University, and the Teaching Assistant Program Supervisor at Capella University. I live with my husband and four children in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA.
I will be participating in January in the peer review training for Quality Matters, so I think I will have a valuable perspective on contributing and sharing. I look forward to participating in this training with my current course mates as well as those who came before in the summer training.
Cheers,
Barb
