Hi Everyone! I am very happy to be participating in Grape Camp and looking forward to becoming a MERLOT peer reviewer. As an instructional designer, I have been a member of, used for my own use, and promoted MERLOT to my faculty for several years. I even did a presentation on becoming a member and using MERLOT at the NYS Conference on Instructional Technologies a couple of years ago in Plattsburgh, NY.

Last semester I introduced my educational technolgies students to learning objects and made the aware of their obligation to contribute to their profession.
Hi, Loretta: We're certainly happy to have you onboard. I'm sure the Faculty Development Editorial Board will also welcome your participation. Thank you for being such a good champion for MERLOT!
Hello, everyone,
I was unable to be present at the Wednesday, March 10, meeting. My name is Susan Alexander, and I am a member of the nursing faculty at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I teach primarily in the online setting, using the ANGEL platform, and I am excited to be participating in Grape Camp. While I already knew that MERLOT was a good tool, I feel like I am discovering new uses for MERLOT materials everyday.
Hi, Susan:

Welcome to GRAPE Camp. We have a very active Editorial Board in nursing, so I know you will connect well with them. Many of them are using various platforms to teach, so I'm sure someone is using ANGEL. Of course, regardless of which platform you use, MERLOT will be helpful.
Hi Everyone! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the first session. My name is Florence Lojacono. I teach French language and Didactics of SL in F2F at the University of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands (Spain) using Moodle. I teach also French and Italian on line at the Empire State College (NY) using Angel. I found MERLOT surfing the web and this was a great day for my students and for me! Now I would like to participate more in this incredible project, and give a little bit since I received so much.
I'm glad to hear that, Florence. Isn't technology wonderful? You can teach f2f in the Canary Islands and also online in New York. I know our World Languages Editorial Board wil welcome you. I'm sorry you missed the first session of GRAPE Camp...hopefully you will be able to join us this week.
Greetings all:

I am so excited to be apart of the March GRAPE Camp. The process has been fantastic thus far. I am currently an adjunct online professor teaching technology applications to Master students at Kaplan University; I absolutely love it!!!!!

I am looking forward to meeting new people and networking with professionals in similar fields. The MERLOT site is full of great resources and wonderful materials. I am in awe right now. This is going to be a great journey and I will cherish every moment of it.

Thank you for the opportunity.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, Makia. We're certainly glad to have you in GRAPE Camp and will welcome you as a peer reviewer. It "does my heart good" when I read people's comments after discovering MERLOT.
Greetings Cathy!

I appreciate the warm welcome! :-)

MERLOT is a great resource and I do plan to share with others. This is a wonderful opportunity and I'm grateful to be apart of it--at this time! When you do something you enjoy, you produce quality work; in turn, produce satisfied individuals! ...and that's where I'm striving to be.

Thanks again,
~Makia :-)
