One of the middle school standards is to teach Evolution, and many people are nervous because it brings up the issue of Creationism. So along with the article from NSTA we received in class this webpage  is also informative about what to bring up and assistance to answer some questions that students might have. Along with some information on teaching it also includes a lesson plan and some activities to do with students.

This website is great for ideas on labs and activities on almost every standard for middle schools. It is great to see all of the ways that get the students moving and physically involved in science, that is what kids need to learn. I feel like with all of the ideas that this website has teachers can include an activity with most of the topics they teach.
