Handbook for peer evaluation of online and blended courses

The peer evaluation criteria and process recommended in this handbook originated with the peer evaluation checklist provided in the UWM faculty development program for blended/online course redesign. That peer evaluation checklist was initially developed by Tanya Joosten based on her survey of analogous peer evaluation instruments used across the country. As such, it offers a fairly broad national consensus on the manner in which online and blended courses may be evaluated.
