I am professor of Science/Math Education affiliated with the Doctoral program in Science/Math Education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. My ares of research are in the field of learning technology and online learning design, delivery and assessment. I am originally from, Senegal, West Africa. I am Director of the MERLOT Africa Network and also member of the MERLOT Faculty Development Editorial Board. I have been with organization since its inception, representing the State of Louisiana.

Hi!  I'm Julie Moore - I teach World Music at Furman University and run a private Suzuki cello studio.  Through my organization the Cradle of Jazz Project, I am working towards cross-cultural education between West African musician students and Western musician students.  Currently, I am looking for downloadable learning resources that can be used in computer-skills classes for Malian students aged 8-13.

Hi! My name is Jane Pablico. I'm a Chemistry/Physics teacher at Walker High School in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. I'm also a graduate student in the SMED doctoral program at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. I'm glad that this site has been introduced to me. So far, I've seen great resources that could be useful in delivering my job better as a teacher. Through this group, I hope to expand my network, meet new people and get exposed to new perspectives in the academic community.
