Describe your role in education
Currently, the lead instructor at Boise State University for their EDTECH Island virtual worlds program in SL, I have developed and facilitated taught online with learners all over the world. My technical expertise includes learning object repositories, metadata, IMS learning technology standards, social media, multimedia and a variety of learning management systems. I have written a number of successful funding proposals, and been recognised by the European Academic Software Awards for my contribution to research in the field of games for learning.
