Describe your role in education

I direct the Institute for Teaching and Learning in the California State University Office of the Chancellor. ITL promotes excellence in university teaching and fosters faculty professional growth and collaboration throughout the 23 campuses of the CSU. From 2004 until 2015, I was a faculty member in the Humanities Program at California State University, Dominguez Hills. From 2013-15, I served as co-director of the Faculty Development Center while coordinating the Humanities External Master's Degree Program.
