Reminders about using Voices Tools:

1. The “Blog Post” function is actually independent of the Community pages. When you post a Blog Post, it shows up on your profile page (My Page) in the center section titled “My Blog.”
2.Also on your profile page, at the bottom-left, is the RSS box. That’s actually an RSS reader. So the URL you would enter would be the URL of an actual RSS feed (for instance the URL of a MERLOT RSS feed). That would allow you to view that RSS feed directly on your Voices profile page.

Yes, I was pleased to see Merlot Voices as this is what we had been asking for from the TBC. I have sent the link to Rassoul for him to check out. We could create an area for a preconference community building for the CSU Business

Incidentally, the original design of the OERC logo came from an oncologist, Dr. Larry Lessin, who is also the project director for the OERC project.

Thanks for pointing this out. Is it possible to re-set the password? For life of me I don't remember the password.

Also when you add the comment about Dr. Lessin and the OERC logo please also mention Evan Jackson who did the finishing touches to the artwork.

Hi Gerry. Glad to see another technology person. Although, in the STEM subjects, I think there are very few who are NOT comfortable with technology since it has become integral to the sciences. I'd love to chat with you over coffee concerning the technology levels you see incoming STEM university students using and what their real-world challenges are.

I've just returned from the Palm Springs CUE conference and my mind is expanding into all manner of projects I might create for high school bioscience curriculum. I am curious...do you know if anyone has employed the Smart Moves technique in their secondary class environment? It is a 5-minute pretest video students follow along that connects the right and left brain functions.

Hi Gerry - well, facebook meets MERLOT, nice. Would like to talk about current NSF RFP re. NSDL and the research track. I know this is an unorthodox way to get in touch, but, what the heck?
