Describe your role in education: I am an Education Librarian at a young, Hispanic-serving university in San Antonio, Texas. I am part of a research services team and serve as a subject area specialist for the faculty and students in all the programs affiliated with my institution's College of Education & Human Development. I plan and implement face-to-face instruction for mid- to upper-level undergraduate students as well as graduate students. Additionally, I create online learning content to facilitate discipline-specific research skill development in my subject areas. I support faculty research in my liaison disciplines and I am the point-person for our library's OER promotion and adoption initiative.
