Sorry to take so long to get this to you. I have names of others who teach methods courses with modeling that I got from Jane Jackson (ASU). She asks that you cc her in your communications (jane.jackson@asu.edu) so she can be aware of the information you glean so she can compile the information in case others ask.
Here are the names and emails she gave me:
Paul Wendel
Mark Lattery
Duane Merrell
Dan MacIsaac
Dave Henry
Colleen Megowan
Jim Stankevitz
Nick Cabot
Sharon Schleigh
Carl Wenning
Eric Brewe
Ling Liang
Larry Dukerich recommended a book that might provide an interesting resource:
A book that I am part way through is Dudley Herron's book: The Chemistry Classroom (1996). It's a bit dated and may be too oriented towards chemistry, but it cites numerous research articles and it explains, in pretty thorough detail, why traditional approaches to teaching are not effective. One good thing is that Herron was well known in the chem ed community, so hearing it from him carries some weight.
