Just wanted to touch base with a few of the people who helped make Spaceward Bound Mojave experience so memorable.

I ended up driving to Chico after arriving back at Ames since a family member, on hospice care, was was not doing well. We didn't get there until almost 3:00 am. How long did it take you and Peggy to get back? I had a pit stop in SF for the boyfriend and some clothes, so I know it slowed me down.

Blake, one of our Mojave cohorts, is going to be in SF investigating graduate schools and my boyfriend, a SFSU employee and myself, are going to be showing him around. We may meet up with some of the others who were down there for a "reunion gathering". Have you checked out Mike Wing's Website? He is truly accomplished. Did you know he has a ph.D.? His website is an amazing resource for high school teachers for their students interested in college entrance advice and internships. One such item struck me; how to get into Harvard with average grades. If you already know about Mike's CV, please forgive my redundancy. I enjoyed Mike's vast knowledge and I'm even more impressed, and inspired. I want to be like Mike. LOL. Perhaps some of us from the Mojave trip will keep in touch in spite of our busy schedules. It was great to have worked with you.
