Putting Educational Innovations into Practice.

Contributing Materials to the CSD Collection

There are two ways to add materials to the CSD Collection:
1. Finding materials already in MERLOT that you can use.
2. Adding materials yourself.

At this point, I am the only one that can add the CSD discipline to materials currently in MERLOT. The way to do this is to post it here in the Discussion forum. However, it is very important that you include the MERLOT URL for the Material Detail, i.e. http://www.merlot.org/merlot/viewMaterial.htm?id=90081 so I can find it. If you only include the actual URL of the site, I have to hunt for it on MERLOT. Thanks.

There is a very simple tool for adding materials yourself. You start with the Title and URL on the MERLOT homepage - on the right, halfway down. The tool walks you through the process. I'm also attaching a very detailed Guide to it, as some people in other disciplines had asked for this. Pam said that she would create something for you, too.
