Putting Educational Innovations into Practice.

Teaching Community College Early Childhood students is a balancing act. I try to bring high-quality articles, and especially videos/webcasts to my students to provoke ideas and discussion. A few are both interested in the material and articulate about their "interface" with it. Many are intrigued but rather inarticulate in their response to the material, especially in written response via Discussion Board in Blackboard. I'm a late-comer to higher education. I'm interested in ideas from others about using high-quality "learning objects" in provoking thought and connections where students from all levels of development can participate in a lively and thought-provoking manner. What are your thoughts, ideas, suggestions on this? Thanks, Gail
