Flint Michigan, USA is leading the way in creating a community of heroes in partnership with the Heroic Imagination Project.  

OUR OBJECTIVE:  To create a K-12 program that promotes heroism and combats the bystander effect in schools in Genesee County with a focus on Flint Community Schools

The Heroic Imagination Project (HIP) and MERLOT are partnering to provide Flint Michigan a FREE and OPEN, user-friendly, online community platform to share their stories and reflections on adopting and adapting HIP strategies, tools, and curriculum to make the world a better place.   By making everyday heroes and heroic acts visible through social media, we all can learn from others and build communities of courage to help better other’s lives.
