Describe your role in education
I recently resigned after three years as Director of E-Learning at a mid-sized liberal arts university, and now write and consult on higher education and educational technology. I also occasionally teach courses online for a different institution.

In addition, I'm an elected member of the Community Council of WikiEducator, a project originally funded by the Commonwealth of Learning and the Hewlett Foundation to develop open educational resources, primarily for the developing world.
