First of all, can we all agree on exactly what we mean when we use the term differentiated instruction? What is it and why should we care about it in teaching? There, that is a starting point. :-)

Ok, I'm a kinesthetic learner; what are you (the teacher) going to do to make your content accessible to me. Try to be as specific as possible when giving an example. For instance, in mathematics and balancing equations, one suggestion might be to use Hands On Equations. That gives more information than simply saying you'll use manipulatives.
