The Heroic Imagination Project (HIP) and MERLOT are partnering to provide communities of people participating in HIP a FREE and OPEN, user-friendly, online community platform to share their stories and reflections on adopting and adapting Heroic Imagination Project strategies, tools, and curriculum to make the world a better place.   By making everyday heroes and heroic acts visible through social media, we all can learn from others and build communities of courage to help better other’s lives.

HIP is using this online community to support the leaders of HIP projects around the world.   HIP provides planning tools and guidelines for HIP projects to help project leaders be more successful with their own communities.   This website also provides:

• Forums for HIP project leaders to share their strategies, raise issues, seek advice, and build the community of HIP leaders.
• A certification process for HIP Project Leaders to have access to HIP curriculum that they can use for their projects
• Access to HIP team members to request advice and support.
• A model for supporting HIP Project Leaders successfully implementing their HIP program.   The HIP Project Leaders can create their own MERLOT Voices Community (e.g. Hero Town- Flint Michigan ) and use it freely to advance their community's goals and those of the Heroic Imagination Project.
