Describe your role in education
I am the OER Coordinator, Chair of the Honors Program, and Biology Faculty at Butte Community College.

I have helped build, edit and review a number of different learning materials including textbooks and a variety of ancillary materials for both instructors and students. I have collaborated with OpenStax, Carnegie Mellon's Open Learning Initiative, Nature, and Discovery Education.

I have designed and built over a dozen different biology courses, including 5 online courses and have written 6 lab manuals. I have also designed courses using open pedagogy. I have three online teaching certificates and a certificate in Web Design.

My passions are learning, teaching, and the free exchange of ideas. I am thrilled to be part of the Open Education Community!

Dear, I picked interest on you after going through your page profile and demand it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here on merlotnetwork.ning.com because it is a public site. Could you please get back to me to my private email contact address ( annamartins.msg@gmail.com ) so that we can discuss privately. My regards, Anna
